I'm inclined to believe that it's not all nurture. There seems to be quite a bit of nature, particularly of the boy kind, in our little Robert.
He runs from the minute he wakes until the minute he goes to bed at night. Everything is a chase or a wrestling match, with a kiss or a hug thrown in for good measure. He loves, loves, loves any truck, motorcycle, or fire engine. Few falls result in tears... he's already up and running again.
I took him to a new park the other day after a rain. Despite the new toys, he was far more interested in the mud puddles. He was jumping into them, splashing his hands it them, squealing with delight. At one point he even bent over and put his entire face into the puddle. When he lifted his face it was dripping with muddy water, covered in mulch, and split into a huge grin.
He is all action and likes the full experience. I hope that these two videos capture a little bit of his X-treme side. He certainly keeps us on our toes.
I love that Robert has that no fear factor!!! I was cracking up when I watched the second video here. I miss him sooooo much!!!! Please bring him home soon :-)
